The Board Room

The old Board Room at the Belle Bennet will be used as a reception hall and small diner to support our culinary arts program that will be offered to far-chance workers. We will also use it as a pop-up training and event space for the community, for things like birthday parties, baby showers, tabletop game nights, trivia nights, songwriter events, and so forth.

Board Room Project

Transforming the old Board Room into a multi use space was fun except for taking up the 10,000 staples out of the floor from the 34-year-old carpet. It did reveal a nice old hardwood floor that was in pretty good shape. We scrubbed the floor, fixed the broken windows, and repainted the walls and trim for a nice neutral clean look. Oh, and I added a dimmer switch to create the vibe.
